Cooler Master Unveils Hyper 212 3DHP with Innovative 3D Heatpipe Technology

Cooler Master has officially introduced the Hyper 212 3DHP, the company’s first air cooler to feature its new 3D Heatpipe technology, which debuted earlier this year at Computex 2025. This new design redefines traditional heatpipe engineering, aiming to deliver more uniform heat distribution and improved cooling performance.

Unlike conventional aluminum tower coolers that use U-shaped heatpipes where the central section contacts the CPU base, Cooler Master’s 3D Heatpipe introduces a unique branching system. Each heatpipe includes a vertical branch that extends upward through the middle of the fin stack, allowing heat to spread evenly across both the central and outer areas of each fin. This approach helps enhance overall thermal transfer and cooling efficiency.

Two Versions: ARGB and Black Edition

The Hyper 212 3DHP will be available in two variants: the standard Hyper 212 3DHP with ARGB LED illumination, and the Hyper 212 3DHP Black, which features a sleek, non-illuminated fan. Aside from lighting, both models share identical specifications.

The cooler measures 133 mm (W) × 86 mm (D) × 158 mm (H) and includes two 3D heatpipes branching out to a total of six ends. The heatpipes make direct contact with the CPU via a precision-machined copper base. Cooling duties are handled by a 120 mm fan spinning at up to 2,050 RPM, capable of delivering 63.1 CFM of airflow and 2.69 mm H₂O of static pressure, all while maintaining a low noise level of just 27 dBA.

Durability and Warranty

Cooler Master is backing the Hyper 212 3DHP with an impressive 5-year warranty — a notable upgrade compared to the typical 2-year coverage on other models in this category. This extended warranty reflects the company’s confidence in the durability and performance of its new 3D Heatpipe design.

Both variants are attractively priced, with the Hyper 212 3DHP Black launching at $29.99 — the same price as the existing Hyper 212 Black Edition. With this release, Cooler Master continues to push the boundaries of air-cooling innovation, offering gamers and PC builders a fresh take on one of the most iconic CPU cooler lineups in the industry.
